Ordained as a Non-Denominational Minister on February 14, 2002, the choice of a Wedding Ministry appeared to be in perfect alignment with a Valentine’s Day Ordination!

My educational background is a combination of traditional and metaphysical. I am a High Honors Graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Sciences (1994). I have also completed a Doctorate of Philosophy of Metaphysics (1995), and am currently in the completion stages of a Doctorate of Holistic Ministries. My approach to the Ministry and each individual’s religious or spiritual beliefs is that every path to God or Spirit is an individual and personal matter, and all are valid.

Having assumed the roles of wife, mother and grandmother, I have a deep understanding of the joys and challenges these roles bring to our lives. I have worked in the corporate world and understand the modern stresses placed on us to manage and balance our responsibilities and our well-being. I am a Reiki Master and a published author on Reiki. In addition, I am a member PAWS of Central PA-- an organization dedicated to the welfare of animals, as well as The Interfaith Alliance—an organization dedicated to religious/spiritual tolerance and separation of church and state. I volunteer for “Helping Hands Ministries” assisting in serving meals to the hungry in Harrisburg.

Providing spiritual direction for individuals in various capacities since 1991, I was called to the ministry when my children’s friends, many of whom I had known and counseled for years, came to me and asked me for the honor of officiating their wedding ceremonies.

It is a joy and privilege to be asked to officiate at the joining of two individuals into the partnership of Marriage and to assist them in creating a wedding ceremony that is a unique reflection of their relationship, values and beliefs.
